Here you can find peace: The Yoga Vidya Ashram Allgäu is located at an altitude of 900 m directly in front of the Alps. The small, idyllic village of Maria Rain is perfect for yoga and meditation. The popular cities Kempten and Füssen are not far away.

Get ready for a view of an impressive section of the Alpine panorama. Nearby are the Alpspitz (1575 m) in Nesselwang and are Gruenten (1738 m). If there is good weather, even the Zugspitze (2962m), the highest German peak, is visible from the house.

All rooms are equipped with shower and bathroom. After your yoga class you can relax in the sauna. Like all of Yoga Vidya retreat houses the Yoga Vidya Ashram Allgäu is smoke and alcohol free and our food is fresh and vegetarian.

Visit the famous pilgrimage church of Maria Rain just a few meters from our house. Swim in the lakes nearby. Hike on the 40 km hiking trials. In winter: Skiing, sledding, cross country skiing, hiking in the snow. In the next town there is a summer bobsled track and a high ropes course.
