Polisena L’altro Agriturismo is a family-run farmhouse in the countryside of Bergamo, European Capital of Culture 2023.
We are in a strategic position for a cultural holiday, since we are 20 minutes away from Bergamo, Lecco and its lake, and very close to Milan and the Orobic valleys and mountains.
The whole house is in an ancient building from the eighteenth century. We renovated it in 2011, preserving some original parts and renewing the rest with green building. We are certified KlimaHaus (the first farmhouse in Italy) and we cover most of our needs with self-produced energy; through photovoltaic and solar thermal systems, wood boilers and heat pump.

Organic wines

Our farmhouse is situated at the top of one of our vineyards, 550 metres above sea level, overlooking the countryside below as far as the eye can see.
Our family has been dedicated to the production of organic wines since 2000, growing our own grapes from 9 hectares of vineyards.

Vegan-vegetarian restaurant

The farmhouse has a restaurant offering a predominantly vegan cuisine with a vegan tasting menu and a la carte. The restaurant is open to the public and, of course, to guests staying at the hotel. Each of our five rooms is decorated differently using local and natural materials such as local pine and larch wood and organic textiles.

Panoramic views and SPA relaxation

All rooms have panoramic views and we offer a vegetarian breakfast with vegan options based on local produce and homemade bread and cakes.
For a relaxing retreat, you can enjoy our panoramic spa and outdoor Jacuzzi area. Both areas have exclusive access by appointment, so that you can enjoy your moments of relaxation in the company of your friends. This service is not included in the price of your stay.
The surrounding countryside is ideal for activities such as cycling and hiking. We also organise visits to vineyards and tasting of our organic wines.
