Seaside apartment with relaxing private garden near sandy beach

This beautifully renovated duplex apartment for up to 3 guests is an ideal getaway for relaxing by the sea. This independent annexe to the owner’s home, with private garden and entrance, is located in the seaside resort of Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef very close to the beach.

Your home from home

Your private entrance is via the back of the house, and into the lounge where you can relax on a new BZ convertible sofa bed with comfortable high quality mattress. You access the kitchen via an open doorway with a bamboo curtain. The kitchen including all appliances are new: electric plates and hood, fridge, microwave and coffee-maker. Crockery, cutlery, kettle, cooking pans and all basic kitchen utensils are available. There is a breakfast table with 3 high stools in the kitchen as well as outdoor sitting area under the beautiful pine trees in the garden.
The bedroom and bathroom/toilet are upstairs, under the sloped roof. Therefore it is not really suitable for young children because of the stairs.
The bedroom is cosy and contains a 120 cm double bed (a bit smaller than standard size) and a corner with drawers. There is a large storage cupboard with clothes rail on the landing. The bathroom is equipped with a high standard luxury shower and a towel radiator for the cooler seasons.
Linen, towels and soap are all provided. The washing-machine can be used and there is a clothes line in the garden. All products used and provided are vegan, cruelty-free and mostly organic.
Free parking is available on the street in front of the property. You have free WIFI and good signal. There is no TV in the apartment, but books and games instead, to invite you to take a break from the screens, free your mind and make the most of the outdoors.

100% plant-based

A 100% plant-based organic breakfast is included in the cost and we have a rule about not bringing animal products into the property.

Surroundings and activities

The quiet unspoiled area and secluded garden make it a perfect location to unwind. There are lots of interesting places to explore nearby. The beach is so close you can be there in no time, to relax, walk in the sand, swim or watch the amazing sunsets. The harbour and sailing club are also at the end of the street, 5 minutes walk away. The shops, markets, coastal paths are only a 10 minute walk.
The cities of Saint-Nazaire and Nantes are within reach should you wish to visit them too. 25 minutes drive for Saint-Nazaire, across the largest bridge in France, and Nantes is an hour away. This is where you will find the best places to eat out if you are vegan.
Transportation advice can be provided if you plan to leave your car at home. There is a bus stop nearby. Pick up from the station or the airport can also be arranged for a fee.
French language lessons and speaking practice tailored to your needs can be arranged during your stay should you wish to take advantage of my tutoring service.
