A hidden place in the hills – your retreat on Lake Garda

Our JAR is a small, charming relais that is open all year round. It is nestled in the rolling hills above Lake Garda and is located in Pizzon, a tiny village with just 64 inhabitants – a typical Italian village where time seems to have stood still. In the evening, when the summer heat subsides, you can still see grandmothers strolling leisurely along the small village street.
Pizzon is just a few kilometers from the shores of Lake Garda – ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the Mediterranean microclimate without finding themselves in the middle of the tourist hustle and bustle.

A historic farmhouse with modern comforts – stylishly reinterpreted

The Relais has three guest rooms (two double rooms and one family/quadruple room) and two independent
rooms and two independent apartments – all with their own spacious bathrooms, plenty of comfort and a unique style that harmoniously combines the old and the modern.
Fast Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel – ideal for those who want to work remotely or share special moments in real time.
The apartments, characteristically and tastefully converted from the former wine cellars of the 18th century farmhouse, can accommodate up to 4 people each.
The 4,000 m² natural garden invites you to relax – whether with a book in the shade under the trees or simply enjoying the peace and nature.

A region to discover

Around our JAR you will find golf courses, wineries with excellent local wines, oil mills with high-quality extra virgin olive oil – and beautiful hiking trails that start right on the doorstep and lead you through the rolling hills of the Lake Garda hinterland.

Breakfast with love – seasonal & homemade

A rich vegetarian/vegan breakfast awaits our room guests every morning – prepared with love:

• homemade muesli
• organic fruit and vegetables
• freshly baked bread and cakes
• jams made from seasonal fruits
• cheese from the region from cows and sheep raised in a species-appropriate manner
• organic eggs from free-range chickens at an altitude of 1,300 m
• and a large selection of herbal teas – for a calm and soothing start to the day

In summer, breakfast is served on the two panoramic terraces surrounded by greenery – with a magnificent view of the surrounding hills.
In winter, guests meet in the cozy eat-in kitchen around an old wooden table, which itself has many stories to tell.

Guests staying in the apartments can book breakfast on request for € 20 per person.

A personal touch for your vacation

Claudia, the hostess, puts her heart and soul into looking after her guests. She knows the region like the back of her hand and is happy to give you tips for authentic experiences, hidden places, quiet beaches and excellent restaurants.
If there is something special to celebrate (e.g. birthdays, wedding anniversaries, marriage proposals), she will be happy to help you make the moment unforgettable.

On request, she will also prepare a delicious, typical Italian dinner for you and your loved ones – nothing formal, but a convivial country meal around a large table, just like at a real Italian family celebration.

Our house can accommodate up to 16 people in total and can also be booked in its entirety with Claudia’s supervision and a daily cleaning service.
