SEINZ Wisdom Resort

The SEINZ Wisdom Resort is located on a hill above Bad Kohlgrub at an altitude of 900m above sea level at the foot of the Hörnle – between Murnau and Oberammergau, south of Munich.

A place “to be”

In the former Kurhotel surrounded by meadows and mountains, absolutely quiet, the SEINZ Wisdom Resort is a place just “to be” and an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling, such as skiing, cross-country skiing and tobogganing on Hörnle and in the Ammergau Alps. The Hörnleschwebebahn is within walking distance, the Bad Bayersoier lake is a short drive away, the cross-country ski run and mini sled mountain directly in front of the hotel.

The surrounding villages, monasteries and castles are popular destinations with a diverse cultural program.
The SEINZ Wisdom Resort has been refurbished and extended biologically and has 60 rooms with private bathroom and balcony (radiation-free and without TV) and 8 seminar and party rooms to 190sqm. The superior rooms are equipped with Cocomat natural bedding systems.

Vegan plus

Our guests can enjoy our “vegan plus” lunch and dinner buffet (basically vegan and on demand milk products plus eggs). Our kitchen uses organic produce, preferably of regional origin or own cultivation. The breakfast buffet is complemented by home-baked organic bread and bread rolls. Our wood stove regularly invites you to create your own pizza.

Activities

In the spa department, effective massages and healing treatments can be booked on site. A sauna is available to guests as well.
The ongoing program offers a variety of topics for all guests – yoga in various forms, meditation, drumming, chants, guided walks, campfires, torchlight walks, Jin Shin Jiutsu, Zilgrei and more.

Relax in the midst of nature, clean air and a wonderful panoramic view – in the house, on the spacious grounds, in the patios, the rose garden with stage and on the feel-good terrace. To relax and be in the house, guests can use the lounge, chillout-era, farmhouse parlor, music room with grand piano and drums as well as the large dining room. Spontaneous jam sessions and playing music together are welcome.
Children are welcome and integrated into their daily routine, either together or with their own program. Here also children are allowed just “to be”.

The first part of the animal village with 5 horses allow riding therapy and rides or just stroking. In summer, the cows graze in the meadows around the hotel.
Wi-Fi is available free of charge if required in public areas.
