Lion Temple Simhachalam is a yoga and ashram community in Jandelsbrunn, Dreiländereck (triangle between Germany, Austria and Czech), Bavarian Forest.

One can refuel in Bavarian Forest not only well physically, but also mentally in our spiritual oasis at 650 meters above sea level and in the nearby nature park. Whether day trips for individuals or groups with temple tours and a taste for life of our bhakti-yogis, delicious karma-free vegetarian and some vegan organic food from its own farm, Temple & Yoga weekends, short breaks or retreats for yoga groups – is certainly something for everyone wanting to experience the authentic Indian spirituality.

Furthermore, you can benefit from our wide range of courses and seminars around authentic spirituality and health. Our services range from daily temple visits and yoga holidays (weekends and vacations), seminars and retreats up to major Indian festivals.
Several times a year big Vaishnava festivals are also held. The biggest one is Narasimha Caturdasi in May.

You can find accommodation in our simple but comfortable guest house.

The project is connected to ISKCON Germany – Austria Association, the Association of Gaudiya Vaishnava centers in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Leisure activities in Dreiländereck

In the immediate vicinity of the Lion Temple, there are several smaller villages with their dreamlike landscapes. The clean air and the lush green meadows and forests and rolling hills refresh body and soul in every season and let the heart become open.

Whether hiking, cycling and golf in the spring and autumn, swimming, horse riding, beach volleyball, mountain biking and Nordic walking in summer or cross-country skiing, sledding and skiing in the winter, no one comes here too short!
